Procurement Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Engineer to manage our company's procurement activities and ensure the timely acquisition of materials, supplies, and services at competitive prices. The Procurement Engineer will work closely with various stakeholders to identify procurement needs, source potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance.

Job Responsibility:
- Collaborate with internal departments to determine procurement needs and specifications
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery speed
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchases
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and contracts
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, pricing, and supply availability

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good understanding of technical specifications and industry standards
- Proficient in MS Office and procurement software
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus
