NICU Consultant

Summary:
We are searching for a dedicated NICU Consultant to join our medical team and provide specialized care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the care of premature or critically ill newborns and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Job Responsibility:
1. Provide expert medical care to newborns in the NICU, including managing respiratory distress, infections, and other complications.
2. Monitor and assess the progress and development of premature or critically ill newborns.
3. Collaborate with nurses, respiratory therapists, neonatal nurse practitioners, and other specialists to develop and implement care plans.
4. Attend high-risk deliveries to provide immediate medical interventions when necessary.
5. Provide support and guidance to parents and family members on the care and health of their newborn.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Medical degree from an accredited institution and board certification in Neonatology.
2. Valid license to practice medicine and specialize in neonatology.
3. Proven experience working in a NICU setting, managing complex medical cases.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals and families.
5. Ability to make quick and accurate decisions in high-pressure situations.
6. Strong dedication to providing compassionate care to newborns and their families.

Strong medical knowledge and expertise in neonatology
- Ability to provide specialized care to newborn infants in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)
- Proficiency in diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions in newborns

- Ability to work well under pressure and make critical decisions in emergency situations
