Job Description
|
• Review work orders and follow the instructions from Snr. Mechanic |
|
• Change, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems, including fuel, brake, steering and suspension systems, transmissions, emission control and exhaust systems, engines by using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment |
|
• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance & overhauling work on various petrol/diesel engines. |
|
• Prepare the request for spare parts |
|
• Completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters. |
Skills
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and how they operate
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in diesel vehicles
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems
- Skilled in performing routine maintenance on diesel engines
- Knowledge of safety procedures and precautions related to diesel mechanic work
- Good communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and customers
- Attention to detail to ensure precise and accurate work
- Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of the job
