Job Description


Job Summary:
As a Commis Chef, you will assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes under the supervision of a Chef de Partie or a Sous Chef. You will be responsible for ensuring that all ingredients are prepared and stored correctly, following recipes and food safety guidelines.

Job Responsibility:
1. Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking.
2. Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
3. Cook and plate dishes according to established standards.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
5. Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
6. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and quality food production.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Commis Chef or relevant position.
2. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
3. Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
5. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
6. Diploma in Culinary Arts or relevant certification is a plus.
